Maddock Films’ Dinesh Vijan and the director of the movie, Amar Kaushik, approached Shah Rukh Khan for a collaboration after the stupendous response of Stree 2. They included topics such as horror comedy, fantasy, and adventure in their discussions. The three brainstormed many concepts in order to establish a theme for the star’s movie career path.
Chamunda: A Missed Opportunity
One of the flagship movies that was tendered to the star was Chamunda, which was expected to be released in 2026. The film is essential for Maddock’s growing horror-comedy roster and was originally planned with SRK and Alia Bhatt in starring roles. But according to the report, SRK turned down the project. As per other media outlets, the actor specifically did not want to join a franchise that already existed and wanted to create something fresh and innovative.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Idea of a New Endeavor
Shah Rukh Khan has now stated that he wants to be a part of a fresh script with Maddock Films in association with Amar Kaushik. He urged them to submit a proposal that would present new opportunities that they have never tried in cinema. This is well in tune with SRK’s creativity and his ability to create something unique every time for his fans.
New Opportunities for Maddock and Shah Rukh Khan Partnership
Chamunda didn’t work out, so often intense discussions have not ceased between Maddock Films and SRK. Now the tandem of Vijan and Kaushik is looking for material in a new genre that has not been tried in India so far. They are waiting for this collaboration, as it will surely change the fashion of narratives and filmmaking.
Shah Rukh Khan again does the same experiment, which impresses the fans always; that’s why he is the king of Indian cinema.
