During a recent public appearance, Ranbir Kapoor officially confirmed that Brahmastra 2 will be made into reality. Ranbir Kapoor concluded months of anticipation by announcing Brahmastra 2 during his wife Alia Bhatt‘s birthday celebration with the media present.
Director Ayan Mukerji from the Brahmastra franchise is working on his present project, War 2, according to Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir revealed that film part 2 pre-production work will start after War 2 hits the cinemas. Mukerji plans to dedicate himself to film’s production after completing his War 2 directorial responsibilities.
“Interesting Announcements” Ahead
The actor Ranbir Kapoor hinted at approaching forthcoming exciting developments in the following part of the movie Brahmastra 2 but held back from announcing concrete release details.
Fans show newfound enthusiasm because upcoming Astraverse details have started to emerge. The successful launch of Brahmastra: Part One—Shiva in 2022 established a promising trilogy based on Indian mythology, which Brahmastra 2 will further expand.

Bollywood audiences expect news about Ranbir Kapoor, who appears in major film projects. Besides the Astraverse sequel, Ranbir Kapoor will join Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, featuring both Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, in March 2026.
According to the actor, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana: Part One and Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal Park are two upcoming projects that will entertain audiences soon.
