Amid escalating tensions at the India-Pakistan border, Aamir Khan has taken a sensitive step by postponing the trailer launch of his much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par. Originally set for release on May 8, the trailer has been delayed as a mark of solidarity with the nation’s armed forces and to reflect the gravity of the current situation.
Sources close to the production team revealed that Aamir and his team felt it was inappropriate to proceed with promotional activities during a time of national alert. The decision echoes a broader industry sentiment, following Maddock Films’ shift of Bhool Chuk Maaf to a digital release.
