One of the much-awaited next is the sequel to the 2003 hit Andaaz, which will hit the theaters this year. The film, directed and produced by Suneel Darshan, has already produced a few musical songs like ‘Tere Bin Kahin Dil Na Lagey,’ ‘You’re Beautiful,’ and ‘Ishq Junooni Hai.’.
The trailer is likely to be unveiled around Eid, and fans eagerly await more. Andaaz 2 will be a perfect mix of romance, action, and drama and an actual unique addition to the Andaaz legacy.
A New Cast and Fresh Faces
Andaaz 2 introduces newcomers Aayush Kumar and Aakaisha Fernandez, while the original Andaaz featured Akshay Kumar in a pivotal role. In the sequel, Aayush, who was slotted in at the last minute, plays the lead and is said to have come across as an Akshay-sort of hero. Like the first film, the story is new with a fresh cast, and hence Aayush and Aakaisha infused new energy into it, says the director, Suneel Darshan.
The Storyline and Music of Andaaz 2
While Andaaz 2 is not a sequel to the first film, it does have the musical, love triangle, and no women’s rights angle that were common in the first film. The movie music holds its own importance with composer Nadeem getting singing voices of old and new, Shaan, Neeraj Shridhar, Palak Mucchal, and Javed Ali.
Darshan even referenced the original by recreating a line from ‘Yehi toh dil churane ka andaaz hota hai.’ Andaaz 2 is an interesting cinematic experience thanks to the perfect mix of action, romance, and music.
Expectations for the Trailer and Andaaz 2 Release
Andaaz 2’s trailer is expected to be released at the time of Eid, and fans are waiting to see how the film carries forward the success of the first part. About the distribution, as long as the film is over, the final decision regarding distribution will be taken.
