Atlee’s first Bollywood film, Baby John, is already in high spirits even before its release this Christmas 2024. The film is a remake of Atlee’s Tamil film Theri, which starred Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, and Wamiqa Gabbi in lead roles.
As the screenplay undergoes alteration to suit the North Indian market, Baby John can best be described as a dramatic action entertainer. Here is all you need to know about the teaser and the expectations that the film will set.
Baby John Special Preview
The buzz over Baby John started developing when the makers presented a special 5-minute footage to exhibitors and distributors at the Big Cine Expo on September 29. The preview generated very positive feedback, especially now that this only signalled the launch of the film to a bigger promotion. Soon after, a character promo was launched where Jackie Shroff was introduced as the villain of the film, and the viewers were thrilled.
Baby John Teaser Release on Diwali
Getting the first break in movies from the superhit Malayalam film ‘Artist’, Baby John is all set to release its first official teaser on Diwali, which is on November 1st.
The teaser will also be attached to the prints of Singham Again, featuring Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, which is releasing on the same day. This strategic release should allow for even more coverage and will create even more buzz for the film.
The teaser is directed by Atlee and edited by Ruben, will be approximately 1 minute and 30 seconds and has loads of action. It is packed with Varun Dhawan, who is the avatar of an action star.
It also includes many introduction scenes and a thumping background score by the National Award-winning composer Thaman S. A romantic touch with action and music is designed well for a single-screen audience in the teaser.
The Road Ahead for Baby John
The makers are gearing up for this with songs from the film set for a release after the teaser is out, the official trailer of which will be launched in early December. Originally planned for a theatrical release on December 25th, 2024, this Christmas movie is set to be one of the best.
