Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff to Film Three Large-Scale Songs in Jordan

The film “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is one of the most anticipated movies of 2024, particularly because of its unique casting of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.

Even though the title “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” might remind us of the 1998 film featuring Amitabh Bachchan and Govinda, it’s important to note that the forthcoming movie starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff bears no similarity to the older film.

Pooja Entertainment continues to assure that the film will be a delight for fans of action. As the crew prepares for the film’s release this year, they have been sharing interesting snippets on social media that have attracted a lot of attention. One of the recent updates is that the film has been filmed in various cities and countries around the globe.

The entire team of “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan”, including stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, is set to add an international flavor to the film by shooting three song sequences in Jordan.

Akshay Kumar expressed his enthusiasm about filming in Jordan, a country he has never visited but has heard is quite beautiful. He added that the action-packed “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” requires a specific landscape, and the decision to choose Jordan for this schedule was made thoughtfully by Vashu Bhagnani and director Ali Abbas Zafar. The team has previously filmed in Mumbai, London, Scotland, and Abu Dhabi, and is now ready to head to Jordan.

An insider revealed that the songs will be choreographed by Bosco Martis. The filmmakers are determined to create a visual feast for the audience on the big screen by capturing various moods and hues of Jordan through the songs. They are planning to take a large crew of 400-500 people, including around 200 dancers, indicating the grand scale of the song sequences they are planning.

With this decision, the film joins the exclusive list of Bollywood movies that have been filmed in Jordan. The shooting is scheduled to take place from January 19 to February 2.

Producer Jackky Bhagnani shared his insights on why they chose this location.

He said, “As we set off on this filmic journey, Jordan is not just a setting; it becomes an integral part of our narrative, adding its eternal charm to each shot. Jordan not only enhances the grandeur of the film but also its impressive cast,” Bhagnani added, “We hope that once the songs are released and the film hits the screens, more film shoots will take place there. We aim to establish a new trend.”

When asked if he would be joining the team, Bhagnani humorously replied, “I won’t be dancing in front of the camera, but yes, I will be going.”

The decision to shoot in Jordan is a bold one by the filmmakers, given that the country is bordered by three conflict-ridden zones.

Penned and directed by Zafar, the action-packed film is set to hit the screens on Eid next year. The star-studded cast includes Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, and Alaya F. The film has been shot in various locations including India, England, Scotland, and Abu Dhabi.

Zafar shared his thoughts on the upcoming shoot in Jordan, stating, “The goal with the film is to create something grand and visually stunning. We have completed the majority of the film, with only the shooting of three songs remaining, which will be filmed in Jordan. This is because the scenic beauty of the place is extraordinary and it’s relatively unexplored.”
