Farhan Akhtar is nearing the future’s promising comeback to the celluloid with the portrayal of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati in the movie 120 Bahadur. This is Akhtar’s comeback to on-screen acting after his last performance in a 2021 film titled Toofaan.

The film, produced by Girish Johar, is a military action drama written and directed by Rajneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, based on the historical event of the Battle of Rezang La, which took place during the Indo-China War on November 18, 1962. The real-life story of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati PVC, commanding officer of Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon regiment, will be inspired by Akhtar.
Akhtar introduced the movie by a motion poster on Instagram with the tagline ‘Vo teen the… Aur hum? 120 Bahadur.’ In his message, he stated that he is honoured to depict the courage of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati and other soldiers who fought bravely in the battle.
