Chhaava Breaks Box Office Records
This year, Maddock Films managed to release both Sky Force and Chhaava in close succession within three weeks. The historical drama Chhaava reached the top position as the highest-earning period piece ever produced in Hindi cinema while starring Akshaye Khanna and Vicky Kaushal. Under Dinesh Vijan’s visionary leadership, the film stands poised to achieve all-time blockbuster status.

Maddock Films receives high praise from trade analysts because of its successful combination of diverse genres and compelling narratives. According to Atul Mohan, the studio develops every filmmaking style, including period dramas and horror comedies, alongside romcoms.

The studio’s commitment to producing quality material rather than leveraging big stars earned praise from industry expert Taran Adarsh. Maddock selects actors who embody the characters instead of choosing famous names, resulting in successful movie outcomes, according to him.
Maddock Films’ upcoming release Bhool Chuk Maaf featuring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi will premiere in theatres on April 10, 2025. An upcoming time-loop movie is scheduled to challenge the action-packed Jaat starring Sunny Deol at the box office.
