Mandy Takhar is radiating happiness as she navigates her newly married life. With an impressive lineup of six consecutive film releases this year, she is also venturing into production with her first film, “Kikli”. In a recent interview, Mandy discussed the influence of marriage on her life, her enthusiasm for her forthcoming films, and the hurdles she overcame as a novice producer.
Marriage:
Mandy, recently married, shared that her life feels largely unchanged because she and her husband have been close for years. “The foundation of friendship and understanding was already there, and now I’m savoring the new traditions and celebrations that come with marriage, like Holi and Navratri,” she said, her face lit up with joy as she spoke about this new phase in her life.

Career Resurgence and Future Endeavors:
Following a two-year hiatus, Mandy is making a notable return with a string of six upcoming movies. “Ideally, we’d have a two-month interval between each release, but it’s up to the producers,” she noted. “These films, which we began working on last year, are very close to my heart, especially ‘Kikli’, my inaugural venture in production. I’m also particularly excited about ‘Haaye Ni Meri Motto’, for which I had to undergo a drastic physical transformation, gaining 45 kg, which was a challenge on its own.”
First-Time Producer:
Embarking on her first production with “Kikli”, Mandy expressed her excitement about her new role. “I never realized the extent of effort required to make a film successful. Being an actor, we sometimes overlook the complexities, but aspects like editing, music, and managing a team are vital to filmmaking. This experience has been incredibly enlightening, and I look forward to producing more films,” she explained.
