He also shared how the year 2023 restored his self-belief and the importance of trusting his gut feelings. “I’ve been in this industry for 33 years. It’s natural to feel anxious. You wonder, ‘I hope I’ve made the film correctly.’ There were times when my films didn’t do well, leading me to question, ‘Am I not making good films?’ However, the affection that people have shown for Pathaan, Jawan, Dunki, both in India and abroad… They’ve embraced me more than my films and said, ‘Don’t disappear for four years. A break of two-three months is okay.’
