Finally, the much-awaited film Visfot, produced by T-Series and Sanjay Gupta, is finally ready to impress the audience on digital screens after many days of build-up and wait. The film will drop only on JioCinema on the 6th of September, 2024. Starring Riteish Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, and Krystle D’Souza, Visfot is going to be an interesting watch with high-voltage drama and elements of crime thriller and deception that point at the law of unintended consequences.
A Star-Studded Ensemble
The movie has a good star cast, with Riteish Deshmukh as the main lead, who has established himself in both the comic as well as the intense role. In Visfot, Riteish gets to play an entirely different character of a pilot who gets into a lot of trouble, especially when his son is abducted.
The movie gives a much-awaited villain look to Fardeen Khan, who returns to the silver screen after a long time, truly making the movie more interesting. Krystle D’Souza, who has done fabulous work in television, adds her flavor to the script and adds the mystery between the characters.
A Riveting Narrative
Visfot, currently in post-production, is an official remake of the 2012 Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors, directed by Kookie Gulati. The action of the movie is based on crime, kidnapping, and the actions of the protagonists due to the conditions and turbulence that are depicted in the film. Riteish Deshmukh plays the role of a pilot by profession; his son gets kidnapped by Fardeen Khan, setting forth a series of thrilling incidents that can be expected out of a real-life, intense dramatic thriller.
Visfot Behind the Scenes
Quite a deal of expectation has accompanied the making of this film. Initially wrapped up two years ago, Visfot encountered some setbacks that made it to be released only in September 2024.
However, it is still making the rounds for whatever reason, largely contributed by the big names from the Bollywood industry. This project is under the direction of producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series and Sanjay Gupta, a renowned filmmaker, especially in the crime thriller kind.
Exclusive Release on JioCinema
Visfot will not see a theatrical release and it will stream directly on JioCinema. This decision fits in the current trend for direct-to-OTT releases, which provide the audience with the opportunity to watch the film at home.
Fardeen Khan expresses on his social media pages, “Get ready for the biggest explosion on your screen! #Visfot streaming 6th September onwards, only available at JioCinema Premium.”
Approaching the release date, fans of crime dramas and lovers of Bollywood movies are looking forward to the bang that Visfot will provide.
