Ramayana is the eagerly awaited film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It has been creating much hype, especially with its star-studded cast. We have seen the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol on the cast list. This mythological marvel is yet in its early stages and is being planned as a trilogy of mythos. Many of the cast members announced that they were preparing to play legendary characters, which sparked much interest in the movie’s development.
Yash as Ravana in Ramayana
The power-packed performer of the KGF series, Yash, is all geared up to play the invincible Lankeshwar, Ravana. As the lead actor and producer of the movie, Yash has had several look tests to depict the personality of the character.
Yash is set to start shooting his scenes for Ramayana in December 2024. The actor is excited at the opportunity to take up this difficult assignment, assuming he is one of the few to depict Ravana in films from India.
Sunny Deol as Hanuman in Ramayana
Sunny Deol has also been added to the cast list, and he will portray Hanuman in the epic. Deol, who recently finished shooting for Border 2, has also dedicated appreciable time to the venture. He will start filming his part in 2025, and, according to rumours, pre-production for major scenes involving Yash, Ranbir, and Sunny will occur around mid-2025.
